The Kurpie women have brought the color scheme of their woolen clothing fabrics, based on the ancient traditions of Mazovian folk weaving, to a point of mastery.

The Kurpie, a group living in forests and engaged in beekeeping, living north of Warsaw wore short coats, with many pleats on the back and cylindrical hats.
